Finished Quilt: For A’s Baby Girl

It’s done! First stitch placed Friday, November 14. Last stitch placed Sunday, November 22!

That may be the fastest I’ve ever finished a quilt. Not the fastest I’ve photographed a finish though…

It’s approximately 44 x 57. It’s a little big for a crib quilt, but when the crib becomes a toddler bed, it should work nicely. As the child continues to grow, it will slowly become a lap quilt.

The paper piecing alphabet used on the back was by Linda of Paper Panache. I increased the letter size to about 3 inches. The heart pattern was found at Quilting Works.

Now to find a nice box so I can wrap it, then put it somewhere safe until the baby shower in 2 weeks.
